How It Works

01

Consultation

Bring the piece and anything you wear with it. We will have you try it on, then discuss what needs to be done.

02

Fitting

We pin and mark the changes while you are wearing the piece. Streetwear usually takes just one fitting to get right.

Collection

You come try it on one last time before it leaves. If anything still needs changing, we can have it ready within a day.

Common Questions

Before You Come In

Do you do house calls?

Yes. We can come to you. Every visit is different. Please call or text the shop and we will work out the details.

Do you travel to see clients?

Yes. We can travel anywhere to see you. Reach out by phone or text and we will make the arrangements.

Do I need an appointment?

Appointments are not required. We accept walk-ins seven days a week. However, we operate on a first come, first serve basis without an appointment.

Do you offer rush service?

Yes. We do offer a variety of rush services, available upon request after your fitting.

What should I bring to a fitting?

Bring all the pieces you would like altered, with the shoes you plan to wear with the outfit. Hem length and drape both change depending on footwear.

How many fittings will I need?

Most alterations will be done in one. Special circumstances may require two or more fittings.

How much do alterations cost?

Every piece is quoted in person. After your fitting, we will give you the price before any work begins.

Do you make custom pieces?

Yes. You bring us an idea, and we will bring it to life.

Can you copy the fit of something I already own?

Yes. Bring the piece that fits the way you want, along with the one you want changed, and we will copy the fit exactly.

Will resizing a vintage piece change its shape?

No. We resize vintage pieces so they fit you perfectly without losing the integrity of the piece.

Will altering a piece affect its resale value?

It can. Tell us at the fitting if you plan to resell it and we will keep the work as reversible as the piece allows.
