How It Works

Consultation
Bring the piece and anything you wear with it. We will have you try it on, then discuss what needs to be done.

Fitting
We pin and mark the changes while you are wearing the piece. Leather usually takes one or two fittings to get right.
03
Collection
You come try it on one last time before it leaves. If anything still needs changing, we can have it ready within a day.

Before You Come In
Do you do house calls?
Yes. We can come to you. Every visit is different. Please call or text the shop and we will work out the details.
Do you travel to see clients?
Yes. We can travel anywhere to see you. Reach out by phone or text and we will make the arrangements.
Do I need an appointment?
Appointments are not required. We accept walk-ins seven days a week. However, we operate on a first come, first serve basis without an appointment.
Do you offer rush service?
Yes. We do offer a variety of rush services, available upon request after your fitting.
What should I bring to a fitting?
Bring all the pieces you would like altered, with the shoes you plan to wear with the outfit. Hem length and drape both change depending on footwear.
How many fittings will I need?
Most leather alterations are done in one fitting. Special circumstances may require two or more fittings.
How much do alterations cost?
Every piece is quoted in person. After your fitting, we will give you the price before any work begins.
Do you make custom pieces?
Yes. We can source leather from anywhere in the world and make any custom leather piece you desire.
Will a replacement zip match the original?
We source the closest match we can find first. If an exact match does not exist, we will show you the options at the fitting and you can choose.
Will the alteration be visible on the leather?
Leather holds every needle mark, so we work along the original seams wherever the piece allows. Where a new line is unavoidable, we will show you where it falls at the fitting.
Can you work on a piece that has been altered somewhere else?
Yes. Bring it in and we will tell you at the fitting what can be corrected and what the piece will allow.
