How It Works

01

Consultation

Bring your dress, the shoes, and the undergarments you plan to wear with it. We will have you try everything on, then discuss what needs to be done for you to look your best.

02

Fittings

After the consultation we move to the first fitting, where we pin and mark the changes while you are wearing the dress. We may repeat this two or three times to ensure the perfect fit.

03

Collection

The week before your wedding, you come try the dress on one last time to make sure the fit is perfect. If anything still needs changing, we can have it ready within two days or less.

Common Questions

Before You Come In

Do you do house calls?

Yes. We can come to you. Every visit is different. Please call or text the shop and we will work out the details.

Do you travel to see clients?

Yes. We can travel anywhere to see you. Reach out by phone or text and we will make the arrangements.

Do I need an appointment?

Appointments are not required. We accept walk-ins seven days a week. However, we operate on a first come, first serve basis without an appointment.

Do you offer rush service?

Yes. We do offer a variety of rush services, available upon request after your fitting.

What should I bring to a fitting?

Bring the gown or dress you would like altered, with the shoes you plan to wear with it.

How many fittings will I need?

Most bridal alterations require two to three fittings to ensure a perfect fit.

How much do alterations cost?

Every piece is quoted in person. After your fitting, we will give you the price before any work begins.

Do you make custom dresses?

Yes. Custom gowns and dresses are made here by hand, start to finish. Bring an idea or a reference and we will take it from there.

How far ahead of the wedding should I come in?

Six to eight weeks before the wedding is a comfortable amount of time. That allows for two or three fittings with the final fitting the week before the wedding so the fit is as current as possible.

Which bustle is right for my dress?

That depends on the train and the fabric. All three are made in house, so at the fitting we will pin French, American, and ballroom on the gown and you can see which one it wants.

Do you alter bridesmaid and mother-of-the-bride dresses?

Yes. Even if you would like your dog to have a suit or a dress, we can alter it.
